Consulting & Program Facilitation In Schools:

We Logo

Bruce is a semi-retired educator. After 30 years of working in schools, he branched out to work as a program facilitator and developer. He’s brought numerous programs to North Bay area schools, particularly the Near North District School Board:

  • Take Action program; a student leadership and global citizenship program, to all their high schools, plus over 35 elementary schools
  • Their Power To Change program for at-risk youth
  • The Sacred Circle program for Indigenous youth

He facilitated a partnership between Canadore College and the We Organization, which made Canadore the first post-secondary institution in Canada to have a formal partnership with We.

Youth Philanthropy Initiative

Also, he brought the Youth Philanthropy Initiative to the Near North School Board. This free program had students research local social grassroots charities. As a result, the Youth Philanthropy Initiative donated $35,000 to the seven local charities in our region, each year for several years.

Connecting Communities with Private Sector & NGOs:

Bruce sees value in developing healthy relationships between different communities and the private sector. He enjoys helping young people access these opportunities, and would love to assist your organization, be it a private business, an NGO, or a small local organization, to connect young people with programs and services that can benefit you both.

Bruce wants to work at connecting organizations to businesses which share matching values. If you’re looking for a way to give back to the North Bay community, and / or do some good in the countries and cities where your business operates, reach out to Bruce for ways he can help.

Connecting You To Driven, Young Talent:

If your organization has volunteer opportunities, co-op placements, or internships available, tell Bruce so he can pass the opportunities along to the people he helps through his Career and Education Planning service.
